Gedung Sate is one of the iconic buildings in Bandung City, West Java, Indonesia. Built in 1920, it was originally designed as the headquarters of the Department of Railways of the Dutch East Indies by architect J. Gerber. The name "Gedung Sate" comes from the skewer-shaped ornament located at the top of its tower.
